Saira Gulamani is a UAE-based educator, entrepreneur, and adjunct faculty member at Middlesex University Dubai, specialising in play-based cognitive interventions for older adults. As founder of the Golden Years© Programme, she has pioneered the use of LEGO® 6 Bricks as a structured therapeutic tool for seniors living with dementia and Alzheimer's — delivering sessions across community centres in UAE. Her work has been recognised twice by the UAE Department of Community Development through the WYAKOM Award (2023, 2025). She is currently preparing a PhD research proposal exploring cognitive and social impact of this activity on elderly populations in the MENA region.
