Rachel MacLean is a PhD candidate in Interdisciplinary Studies at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, Canada. Her research examines women’s health across the lifespan, with a particular interest in primary care, caregiver support, and trauma-informed approaches. Rachel’s recent work includes a scoping review on dementia coaching for unpaid caregivers and broader scholarship on how health systems can better recognize, resource, and sustain caregiver capacity. Her research seeks to strengthen equity-oriented approaches to care, knowledge translation, and professional education in community and dementia care contexts.
