Biography
Laurel Abbruzzese, EdD, PT, is Associate Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, where she directs the Performing Arts Fellowship and co-leads interprofessional education initiatives. Her research emphasizes movement science, health equity, and geriatric rehabilitation. Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center, assisted by Daria Massimilla, RN, MPH, Certified Dementia Specialist, and closing comments by Debra Hoag, founder of NeuroBody Therapy, and a leader in long-term care medical underwriting. Together, they bring complementary expertise with a shared vision to expand access to innovative care for all, regardless of socioeconomic status.
