Biography

Erin Richardson, is an experienced occupational therapist specializing in dementia care, community-based interventions, and falls prevention. She currently serves at Sun Health in Surprise, Arizona, where she focuses on supporting individuals with dementia through evidence-based interventions. Erin has a background in kinesiology and has worked in a variety of settings, including Mayo Clinic Hospital in Phoenix, where she continues to practice PRN. Her expertise includes functional cognition, adaptive strategies for daily living, and caregiver training to enhance participation and safety. Erin is passionate about promoting dementia-inclusive environments and advocating for occupational therapy’s role in enhancing quality of life for individuals with cognitive impairment.
