The Relationship between Dementia and Parkinson's Disease

The primary signs of Parkinson's disease are motor symptoms, such as tremors and problems with balance. However, dementia and cognitive impairment are also common in people with Parkinson's disease. Understanding the connection between Parkinson's and dementia is crucial for managing both conditions, but this combined effect makes diagnosis and therapy more difficult. At the Dementia World Conference (DWC), specialists will discuss the most recent findings and methods for improving cognitive health in Parkinson's patients.
