Geriatrics Dementia Care: A Comprehensive Approach

The care of the elderly with dementia is the primary concern at Geriatric dementia centers as they are the most vulnerable group affected by this disease. The primary goal of dementia care for this target group is to provide improved quality of life through medical, social, and rehabilitation perspectives. International collaboration in dementia awareness and healthcare innovation continues to grow through the Global Dementia Congress. To enhance the quality of care, caregivers need to understand the unique needs of older people. The next Dementia World Conference (DWC) will focus on best practices in geriatric dementia care, presenting new evidence-based models of care and integration of services.
