Causes and Prevention of Dementia

There are no fixed causes or origins of Dementia as it can manifest by any underlying factors like genetics, age, and lifestyle choices and may be due to some environmental factors. Aging and underlying genetics are major factors leading to dementia. Prevention measures against dementia include adopting a healthy lifestyle, mental stimulation, social engagement with friends and families, regular health checkups, and awareness. While most of the factors cannot be avoided, these measures can drastically help to reduce the risk of dementia.
